Ingredients
– 1 (16 oz) can refrigerated jumbo buttermilk biscuits
– 1 (9.6 oz) package turkey sausage crumbles
– ¼ cup all-purpose flour
– 2 ½ cups milk
– Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. First, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and arrange biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, about 13-15 minutes.
2. Next, in a large skillet over medium heat, cook the turkey sausage crumbles, stirring frequently, for about 5-6 minutes.
3. After that, stir in the flour until well combined.
4. Gradually add milk, stirring continuously, until the gravy thickens and starts to boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 2 more minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.
5. Finally, split the warm biscuits in half and ladle the creamy turkey gravy over them. Serve immediately and enjoy!
